Stock Signals

Four signals before another purchase

What do I need to know before reordering?

Check outstanding confirmed demand, matching sellable stock, usable incoming pieces and the resulting demand gap. Keep all four tied to the same exact combination.

  1. 01

What counts as confirmed jersey demand?

Count specific customer requirements you can verify for an exact reference, version, size and quantity. Likes, views and vague enquiries are interest—not confirmed demand.

  2. 02

Which stock can cover the current request?

No. Count usable pieces that match the exact requirement and are available to cover it. A wrong size, wrong version, damaged piece or item committed to another buyer does not fill this gap.

  3. 03

Check incoming stock before buying twice

Yes, when the incoming pieces are confirmed, match the requirement, remain available to that demand and are expected in time. Do not count a pending quote or unconfirmed supply conversation as incoming stock.

  4. 04

Read a demand gap without turning it into a forecast

Demand gap is confirmed demand minus matching sellable stock minus usable incoming stock, with the displayed result limited to zero or above. A positive number is a shortage to review, not an instruction to purchase.

Use a consistent view of the requirement

The same piece must not be counted as both sellable and incoming, or assigned to two buyers. Reconcile reservations on both sides of the review. Quantities alone do not resolve whether a parcel will arrive in time.

Follow these four checks in order, then use Restock Check to organize your own rows. None of the signals predicts future sales or replaces a current supply conversation.
